Individual Therapeutic Behavior Sessions
50-minute weekly remote or in-person sessions
Ages: Tweens-Adults
Supporting clients in a collaborative and compassionate space using one-on-one sessions allow for a therapeutic relationship to be nurtured as you are guided along an individualized care plan. Drawing upon clinical and holistic behavior analysis means we incorporate ACT-based interventions (acceptance & commitment training/therapy) naturalistic teaching, mindfulness & body-based movement while providing ongoing moment to-moment assessment, allowing for meaningful behavior change and emotional well-being to be cultivated on your own timeline. Clinical Behavior Analytic Services are supportive practices to add on to your regular work with a psychotherapist or psychiatrist. We are happy to coordinate and collaborate on your care.

Clinical & Holistic Behavior Support:
What is it? How is it different than psychotherapy? Can a BCBA help me?

A Note About Holistic & Clinical Behavior Analysis:
My practice focuses on utilizing modern applied behavior analysis (ABA) where integrating clinical behavior analysis, client autonomy, and naturalistic teaching is balanced with traditional ABA methodologies. Holistic behavior analysis emphasizes understanding behavior within the broader context of an individual's emotional, social, and environmental learning histories and life experiences. Assessments and Interventions continue to focus on maximizing client independence, functional life skills and active involvement in acquiring more complex skills needed to live within a community while increasing levels of independence, self-exploration and preferences are integrated. Clinical behavior analysis extends this perspective by addressing complex human issues such as anxiety, trauma, and interpersonal relationships through a functional lens to address behavior presentation using contextual behavior analysis, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and other behaviorally based clinical interventions within a multidisciplinary team—working alongside professionals in speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychology, and medicine highlights strengths within and across these disciplines to ensure comprehensive, person-centered care. This collaboration supports a balanced application of structured, evidence-based interventions with naturalistic teaching methods that promote skill generalization and engagement in real-life settings. Together, these approaches represent an evolving, ethical, and flexible model of behavior analysis that honors both scientific rigor and human complexity.
